this is where I buy cans of Mountain Dew, bottles of Pepsi, and bags of chili-lime bagel crisps. the kid is covering up the merch from the rain. the two guys who run the place are very nice and always shrug when handing me back the money I overpay when I misunderstand the prices of things. though I have been informed by Egyptian friends that I am paying an “American tax” on bottles of Pepsi, which I am charged 2 LE for. they pay 1 (about 20 cents US). c’est la vie.
